As the Director of Communications for Holy Child School at Rosemont, an independent PreK – 8 school, I led marketing and communications efforts for admissions, advancement, and alumni and parent relations.

I developed the marketing strategy and managed creative development for print and digital advertising. I managed content and new page development and editing for the School’s FinalSite website, their WordPress marketing microsite, and Insights from Holy Child: the new blog I developed for the School.

On the communications side,  I served as the editor and lead writer of the School’s biannual, full-color magazine, CachetThis included managing all phases of the magazine’s development and production. I also produced the Holy Child Herald, the School’s weekly digital newsletter for community announcements. I created a new, responsive-design template for the Herald and the alumni newsletter, using the e-notify system in the School’s FinalSite website.

Media Coverage and Print Advertising

I also managed crisis communications,  wrote press releases and managed press relations including pitching the School’s thought leaders to the press for feature article placement, providing content and photos for student stories and faculty achievements, and arranging press coverage of community and fundraising events. Cachet Spring 2017

In this issue, I wrote the two lead features: Athletics: Building Skills for Life and Lower School: The Foundational Years. I also wrote the two Alumni In Action features and several smaller copy sections in the issue. I served as the editor for the issue, took many of the photos featured in the issue, and managed scheduling, design, and production.

Cachet Fall 2016

This issue was my first Cachet issue at Holy Child, and it was underway when I arrived. I wrote some smaller pieces, edited the entire issue, including the Annual Report of Gifts, worked with the designer through the review cycles, oversaw production and delivery to the printer.
