#ILOVEDSU Fundraising Campaign — Email

Along with social media, we did weekly emails to segmented audiences during the #ILOVEDSU campaign. As with social media, the initial messaging introduced the campaign and focused on engagement, while later emails included an ask for donations to the University. Most of the emails linked to video messaging to support the messaging of the email and to continue to engage audiences.

Why Give to Delaware State University?

As the campaign progressed, the message shifted from engagement to fundraising, with various faculty, staff and Board of Trustees members providing messaging on the reasons for giving and its importance. 

 

College Dean ILOVEDSU – College email promotions

We did segmented email promotions, along with social media, to students, alumni and faculty/staff associated with each of our for Colleges. The deans did videos talking about why it was important to give to their College and programs and the videos were shared on social media and through targeted email campaigns. The campaign was inspired by a quote from Dean Horton in her video, when she said to the audience: Give…it makes a difference.
