Welcome!
I’m a highly creative content, marketing, and communications professional with more than fifteen years of experience in print and digital marketing and communications, content acquisition and development, social media,  membership marketing and management,  project management, and public relations for nonprofit, education, and for-profit organizations.
This website provides information about my work and links to samples of my digital content, marketing, communications, social media, and membership projects. Please use the tabs at the top of the page to locate and review the samples. Please also be aware that all of the IRA tab menus, the Holy Child School at Rosemont tab menu, and the Delaware State University tab menu all have submenus, which link to important pages offering sample content and marketing campaigns.
Also, please note that several digital samples on the portfolio site are not responsive or optimized for mobile because they pre-date responsive design. More recent projects I worked on I have optimized for mobile. Also, I linked to summaries and PDFs for some of these projects on my portfolio website because IRA—now International Literacy Association—did a rebranding and with that, a redesign of their website after I left. Many of my older/outdated landing page and email projects were removed from the site during the redesign. The Engage site (which was hosted on Higher Logic) was retired and the Engage/Teacher to Teacher blog and other aspects of Engage were merged into the new, main ILA website. If you go to IRA’s current Literacy Daily blog and review blogs from 2012 and earlier, you will find many of the blogs I produced still on their site under the categories 5 Questions With…Teaching TipsIn Other WordsPutting Books to Work, and Anita’s Picks.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time at my home, Heart of Gold Farm (pictured as my homepage image) with a collection of colorful warmblood sporthorses that I bred and raised.
If you have any questions, please contact me through email.
Thank you so much!
